• The Children’s Christmas Party was a wonderful time for all. The children along with the parents enjoyed making Christmas decorations. Santa arrived with his bag full of toys. Every child received an awesome gift and had an excellent time. We’d like to say thank you to Becky Canty for all her work to make this party a huge success. Thanks to Kris White for helping her out with putting the decorations supplies in order. And a BIG thank you to Santa and his helper (Penny). We should have some pictures on our web site soon.

• The adult Christmas Party was an awesome time. 78 people attend this year’s party. The music was excellent. The dance floor was packed all evening. And the food was superb. Thank you to everyone who helped out making this party a success. A special thank you to all who donated those delicious deserts. Betty Pratt donates a special blend of Baileys’ each year, I hope everyone got a taste. Thanks Betty, it was excellent..

• Donations have been coming in for the game feed. Thank you to all who have donated so far. We are still in need of more donations. If anyone who would like to contribute some game please contact the club. Freezer space is available down cellar.

• Our next issue will have our calendar of events. The calendar will be posted on our web site shortly. Please take a minute to check out our site and make note of the events coming up.

• LJ's January Sporting Tip:

  When ice-fishing two consecutive days, be sure to bring all of your gear inside after using it. Otherwise, spools and tilts are frozen together and pull-starters on ice-augers are jammed with ice!

• Don’t forget Trap shooting on Sunday afternoons. We start around 1:30. Even with this spell of cold weather, we have had quite a few participants. Come on down and join in the fun.

• Ongoing, we can order jackets, either spring or winter. If you are interested in looking at these items please keep in contact with the club (508-435-4148). We are working at getting some dungaree shirts in too. We will keep you posted with the information once its been confirmed. The green hats are in now. Members price for hats are still $5.00.

• Hall Rentals:

  Member $75.00 plus $75.00 deposit
  Non-Member $125.00 Hall, $50.00 bartender, plus $75.00 deposit

  A deposit and contract are required to hold a date. Deposits are refunded at the end of the function once the hall has been cleaned.

  Children’s party rentals can be on Wednesday or Thursday only.

• Hunting season is over, so be sure to come to the member meetings and share your hunting stories!! Congrats to those of you that have hit your mark!!
