General Information Porketta/Chicken Shoots Porketta/Chicken shoots have started again. Please contact the club for dates or stop by the club. Shoots are always on a Sunday and start at 4:00. We're generally done by 6:00 and follow it with a meat raffle. Families are always welcome. It's a lot of fun. Christmas Holiday Party This year our Christmas party featured Roast Beef w/mushroom gravy, Chicken Marsala and garlic mashed potatoes, salad, rolls and butter. The food was excellent. Thank you to anyone that had donated an appetizer or dessert. The DJ (Paul Giroux) had everyone dancing right up to last call. The free membership for 2006 went to Ned. Congratulations Ned!! Did you remember to pay your dues? By the time you get this it will be the end of the month and close to the cutoff date. If you have not had a chance to pay your dues yet ($70 now), please either stop into the club or drop a check in the mail. As long as it's postmarked by 1/31/05 you will remain a member. If anyone has a hardship and can't pay their dues, please contact the membership committee. Cookbooks: We are still collecting recipes for our cookbook. We would appreciate any and all donations. Thank you to those of you that have taken the time to drop off recipes. We know many have said you have some, so we would love to get them into the book. The sooner we get enough recipes, the sooner the book can be published. Any proceeds will go to benefit the club. Recipes for regular types of food are also being accepted along with appetizers and desserts. We are also looking for kids recipes. So let's hear from all you ice fishing and hunting camp cooks. We are also looking for suggestions for a title. Please feel free to let Dennis Smith know any ideas. Calendars: Thank you to everyone who participated in our Black Powder Rifle Raffle. The drawing was held on 12/7/04 meeting. Paul Ambers won the gun, Russell Tomassetti won 2nd prize and Larry Jackson won 3rd prize. The Woodville Rod & Gun Club of Hopkinton is offering a $500.00 scholarship to a student in the area who shows an interest in environmental education and is pursuing a degree in wildlife, habitat, fisheries or forestry management, environmental, wildlife or marine biology at an accredited college. We have orange and green hats on hand ($5), and the newest item is a camouflaged version ($12), two styles. Hall Rentals:
A deposit and contract are required to hold a date. Deposits are refunded at the end of the function once the hall has been cleaned. Children’s party rentals can be on Wednesday's or Thursday's only. Welcome New Members:
