New Business
  • Greg Leal will be starting a Jr. Sporting Awards. This will be for 16 and under. Please check with Greg for more details.

  • Anyone interested in a new jacket, please stop by the club. Paul Gouvea has arranged for some samples and is taking orders. A $50.00 deposit is required at the time of ordering. Jackets should be around $75.00. If we can get more orders then the cost will go down.

  • A committee is being formed to represent the club at the next town meeting. The town is anticipating a petition to ban the discharge of firearms. Anyone interested in being on this committee please come to the next meeting.

  • The town is also trying to ban smoking in all establishment, even private clubs.
  • There will be a vote at the next members meeting to amend a bylaw, Article 5, sec 1, part D. The bylaw says that a member must do 3 details before a year is up, but it does not state what happens if the details are not done. The amendment to the bylaw will state that if the details are not done then they will be dropped from the membership.

  • A notice is being drafted and will be handed to any non-member who comes to the club without a member. This notice will explain to the non-member our requirements in order to enter and drink. A non-member cannot just walk in and sign himself or herself in. A member must sign them in and once that member leaves, they will either have to be signed in by another member or they will need to leave too.

  • We are looking into getting a smoke eater. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If anyone knows of an establishment, which has gone Non-Smoking and wants to sell their smoke eater, please contact Karen Remillard. You can leave her a message by calling the club.

  • February 9th was our Game Feed. And as usual, Ed Grant and his gang made this a spectacular event. The food was incredible. There are so many people to thank. And we don’t want to forget anyone. So to all that helped make this event a successful one, “Thank you”!! You are all awesome!! Thank you to the bartenders and the runner too. They managed to keep you all with cold drinks!!

  • Don’t forget the Comedy night in April. (April 7th). Tickets are $10.00 per person and there will be a buffet included. This is our 3rd or 4th year having a comedy night and it’s been a fun time for all. Hope to see you all there.

  • Welcome to some new members…
    • John Wright
    • Tom Steinkrauss
    • Cathy Collins
    • Ned Thompson
