Meetings held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, Monthly at 8:00pm Calendar of Events
Sick Call (please contact the club if you know of anyone who is ill) Coming Up: Next Club function is the Irish Dinner. Please get your tickets early. Anyone interested in helping with this function please contact our President, Mike Collins. Superbowl Sunday Our annual Super Bowl party was held on Sunday, February 4th. Unfortunately, we didn't have the Pats to cheer for, but a good time was being had by all that attended. We had the usual group of football fans, and others to partake in the various activities at the clubhouse. We tried something new this year for the buffet table, 3 foot long subs. Thank you to the folks that did the picking up and shopping for the goodies. We'd also like to thank anyone that donated goodies to either the buffet table or the desert table. Everything was yummy!! The winner of the wide screen TV is Joe Kerins. Congratulations. Tickets are on sale for: 1 week of Bear Hunting (Archery), $20 per ticket. Drawing will be held at the end of the Trout Derby and only 100 tickets are to be sold. A 10 hour Tuna trip for 3, $20 per ticket. Drawing will be held at the end of the Trout Derby and only 100 tickets are to be sold. Gamefeed Banquet Preparations were in full swing for our annual Gamefeed banquet, at the time of this edition. The banquet was held on February 10th (one week after the Superbowl). We will have the scoop on the feed in next month's edition of the Message. Ice Fishing Derby 1/27/2007 Starting with a hot breakfast, we had 39 brave soles make their way out to the ice for our annual fishing derby. Only the week prior there wasn't any ice around. But as Mother Nature would have it, she supplied us with plenty of ice. All that attended had a fun filled day. We will be having a second Ice Derby on February 24th. Hope to see you all there. SueBee's Foxwood Trip: The bus has filled up fast. You can't beat this deal. A bus ride, voucher for Keno and a voucher for dinner all for $15.00 per person. We will report on how much fun everyone had in our next issue. We hope everyone comes home a winner. Thoughts and Prayers Our sincerest condolences to the Nardini Family, Wylie Family, Wright Family and the Gilson Family for your loss. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
