If you have turned 65 and have 5 years of membership you are entitled to a life membership. Please contact the club if this applies to you. Deep Sea Fishing Trip: Steve Galluzzo has arranged a Deep Sea Fishing trip for club members on August 12th, 7:00-4:00 A sign up sheet is at the club for anyone interested. The club will be providing transportation. The cost will be $50 per person. There are 40-50 openings. So if you are interested, stop by and sign up quickly. As this is a popular event and will fill up fast. The cut off date is July 22nd. (3 weeks before the trip). This event is for club members and family only. Horseshoe Banquet: On March 5th we had the Annual Horseshoe Banquet. Prime Rib and Lobster dinner was on the menu. Along with awesome raffle prizes. Everyone had a great time, food was excellent. Thank you to everyone involved in making this another successful event. Anyone interested in signing up for horseshoes please stop by the club. Horseshoe winners:
Traditional Irish Dinner: Saturday, March 12th we had a Traditional Irish Dinner, boiled ham, potatoes, cabbage, turnips, carrots put on by Liam Shalvey and his leprechaun's. A local DJ played traditional Irish songs. Everyone danced through the evening. In spite of the snow storm the attendance was more than expected. Over 70 people enjoyed the feast. Due to the storm we missed having the Irish Dancers. Hopefully next year Mother Nature will be kinder to us. March "Thin Ice" Derby: On March 19th we had our second derby of the year. It turned out to be a great day with lots of sunshine and fairly warm weather. We had a number of people that came from Norwood, Attleboro, Duxbury, and beyond. The winners were:

Scholarship
The Woodville Rod & Gun Club of Hopkinton is offering a $500.00 scholarship to a student in the area who shows an interest in environmental education and is pursuing a degree in wildlife, habitat, fisheries or forestry management, environmental, wildlife or marine biology at an accredited college. Other notes... Ongoing, we can order jackets, shirts, etc. If you are interested in looking at these items please contact the club (508-435-4148). We have orange and green hats on hand ($5), and the newest item is a camouflaged version ($12), two styles. Please contact Cherryl if you would like to purchase a jacket or shirt, or the bartenders can help with hats. Hall Rentals:
A deposit and contract are required to hold a date. Deposits are refunded at the end of the function once the hall has been cleaned. Children’s party rentals can be on Wednesday's or Thursday's only. Welcome New Members:
