New Business
- Some wonderful changes have been made to the website. Check it out at: www.woodvillerodandgun.com. If you would like to post anything to the web page please send it to Jackie@eol.com. If you have any questions, contact one of the members on the website committee: Jackie Pratt, Larry Jackson, Lee Wright, Karen Remillard and Cherryl Barrett (chairperson).
- We had our first building committee meeting on 3/26/02. Gary Truell is the chairperson and Patty Smith is the secretary. Many good ideas were presented at the meeting. Now the task to determine what is a priority, necessity or just nice to have. A suggestion box will be installed for anyone's suggestions or comments.
- A motion was approved to have a survey of the property. With the development of a golf course, and possibly a housing development behind us, we really need to know where our boundaries are. Paul Baptiste and one of his co-workers will be performing the survey.
- We are again looking into having T-shirts, jackets (spring now, winter later), denim shirts and hats made. We are going to request samples, and would appreciate everyone's opinion on them. If you are interested in looking at these items please keep in contact with the club (508-435-4148). Once they come in, stop by and let us know what you think. Hopefully we will be able to keep a supply on hand for you. (Samples of the jackets should be available at the next member meeting.)
- A motion was approved to purchase 300 bylaw books. Since there have been changes made, we will mail everyone a new book.
- At the trustees meeting there was a discussion about 4 wheelers being driven while people are using the ranges. Anyone who presently uses our property for recreational purposes, please remember that we shoot trap on Sunday's and no one should be driving or walking behind our ranges. It's much too dangerous. And another reminder, NO alcohol is allowed at any of the ranges.
- Another note to anyone using the ranges: Please pick up your trash (targets, ammo boxes, cigarette butts, etc). Lets keep our ranges clean!
- Welcome new members:
- James Donovan
- Alexander Synac
- Steve Pelletier
- Frank Wylie Jr.
