New Business
- Some wonderful changes have been made to the website. Check it out at: www.woodvillerodandgun.com. If you would like to post anything to the web page please send it to Jackie@eol.com. If you have any questions, contact one of the members on the website committee: Jackie Pratt, Larry Jackson, Lee Wright, Karen Remillard, Jeff Gemski and Cherryl Barrett (chairperson).
- A motion was approved to purchase a 3-door refrigerator. And a motion was also approved to have the painting done, along with the work on the kitchen floor. Thank you to the folks that repaired our front stairs... they look great!
- We are again looking into having T-shirts, jackets (spring now, winter later), denim shirts and hats made. We are going to request samples, and would appreciate everyone's opinion on them. If you are interested in looking at these items please keep in contact with the club (508-435-4148). Once they come in, stop by and let us know what you think. Hopefully we will be able to keep a supply on hand for you. (Samples of the spring jackets are available at this time).
- We are looking for testimonials. Please stop in the club and write a sentence or two about what you like about the club. There is a list posted on the wall. We can either post your name, or you can remain anonymous. Or if you have a story you might like to share, we welcome that as well.
- The adult fishing derby was held on April 20th. What an awesome turnout. Frenchie, Mike Collins and Kevin Long did a superb job of feeding all the hungry fishermen.
Tom Stevens won 1st place, and Gary Tripp won 2nd and 3rd place. The raffle winners were Jeff Dee 1st, Paul LaMay 2nd and Frank Wylie 3rd. Congratulations too all. We look forward to the Kids fishing derby coming up soon.
- Club Cleanup was held on April 27th. Over 21 members showed up and cleaned the property. Our thanks to everyone involved. The grounds look awesome.
- Please note that our Saturday summer hours will be starting on May 25th and ending on September 7th. The club will be opening at 4:00 during the summer on Saturday's only.
- Due to upcoming rentals the club will be closed to members on 5/25, 5/26 and 6/1.
- We are also closed on Thursday July 4th and Sunday September 1st.
- Welcome new members:
- Steve Pelletier
- Chris Weinwurm
