Meetings held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday, Monthly at 8:00pm Calendar of Events
General Information Cookbooks: As mentioned in last month's Message, the club is going to produce our own Cook Book. We have formed a committee (looking for help too) to work on this project. What we need from you are your recipies for cooking game and fish that all you hunters and fishing people pass on to others explaining the way you prepare your exotic dishes. Recipies for regular types of food are also being accepted along with appetizers and desserts. So let's hear from all you ice fishing and hunting camp cooks. Calendars: We are also looking into making a ‘Woodville’ calendar. This calendar will have all our events listed along with meeting dates and times. Any photo donations for the calendar would be greatly appreciated. We will be sure to get the photo back to you. Kid's Fishing Derby This month, we had our annual "Kid's Fishing Derby" at Pratt's Pond on Fruit Street, and everyone had a good time. The weather was perfect, the trout were stocked and cooperating, and the grill was serving hot dogs and hamburgers! Every kid went home with a prize. Many thanks to Gary Truell and his clean up and work crews, to Joe Pratt for letting us use his pond, and to Jim Barry, of Barry's Bait Shop in Westborough for his generosity in helping us provide fishing prizes for all of the kids.
Overall Trap Range News This month, a tip of the hat goes to Greg Leal and Frannie Sowa, for their maintenance and repairs to the trap machine. After making the repairs and replacing some worn bushings, the speed calibration was checked and it was right within range. In addition, Frannie has painted and re-roofed the trap house, and installed reflectors on the gate to the ranges. Thanks Greg and Frannie! Raffle This month, Larry Jackson (Lj) had the winning ticket for the coveted surfcasting rod and reel. Upcoming Raffle
