• It’s election time once again. Nominations are being taken for the election of new officers. Please join us at the next couple of meetings to nominate your candidate, and get familiar with the folks that will be running this year. Positions up for grabs are President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, 1 Trustee opening, and 1 Membership committee opening.

• Hope you were able to join us on September 8^th, for our 75^th Annual Chicken Barbecue. Stay tuned for all the highlights of the event.

• And while your mouths are still watering, keep in mind a Porketta dinner on Saturday Oct. 19. Watch for details.

• Don’t forget Trap Shooting on Sunday afternoons. We start around 1:30. The past several weeks have brought quite a few sportsmen and women out. If you haven’t been down in while, why not join in and meet some of the newer members of the club. Watch out for the youngsters, we hear they are shooting better than some of the adults!!

• On-going, we can order jackets, either spring or winter. The spring jackets finally arrived, and were well received by all. Thank you for your patience. If you are interested in looking at these items please keep in contact with the club (508-435-4148). Once they come in, stop by and let us know what you think. The green hats have been ordered and should be arriving soon. We do have some orange ones on hand.

• Another round of applause goes out to the building committee and all of the members that have assisted them. These past few months we've invested a lot of time, materials, and money into our land and clubhouse. The trap range looks great! We've also improved the plumbing with safety valves in the rest rooms, and work is progessing downstairs on the ventillation for the pistol range.

• Reminder that we are back to our Fall hours, and we are now open at 12:00pm on Saturdays. Also, with hunting season approaching, don’t forget, to come to the member meetings and share your hunting stories!! Would like to be able to add that info to our website and in the Message!!

• Hall Rentals:

  Member $75.00 plus $75.00 deposit
  Non-Member $125.00 Hall, $50.00 bartender, plus $75.00 deposit

  A deposit and contract are required to hold a date. Deposits are refunded at the end of the function once the hall has been cleaned.

• Children’s party rentals can be on Wednesday or Thursday only.
